Leadership Matrix
Leadership is defined in different ways to different people. Each person or group seems to have their own definition of leadership and what it takes to lead. I believe this is because their are many different types of leaders and each one leads in their own way. Various situations and circumstances require leaders to operate in distinctive ways, but there are some commonalities that make them the same. In Leadership Matrix, we are going to go over those components. These components are the non-negotiables of leadership. In this course, we set a foundation for understanding leadership and create a model so that we can further dialogue about what leadership is and how to do it well.

session 01
LEADERSHIP DEFINED
Explore the fundamental definitions, essential concepts, and dynamics associated with effective leadership. We introduce our idea that everyone can be a leader and how everyone has the ability to lead to some extent. This course covers how the leader and their leadership is differentiated by a variety of factors. In this section, the variables that play an important part in leaders ability to lead are: influence, advanced position, personal authority, and the ability to move others toward a goal. Overall, this course provides a basic understanding of what leadership is and provides the ingredients that are needed to successfully lead others.

LEADERSHIP MATRIX MODEL
The Leadership Matrix Model represents the ideas, principles, and practices that make up our leadership structure. This model has not only been used to produce and develop leaders from around the world but it is the means by which we have cultivated the type of culture that has allowed us to multiply leaders and equip them to reproduce other leaders. This course will introduce the Leadership Matrix Model and the four components that contribute to a leader’s ability and caliber of leadership. These components are essential to providing accurate leadership and we will help you understand how each one operates.

LEADER'S IDENTITY
Each leader is different. They have their own style, personality, and set of personal skills they bring to the table. Understanding who you are and how you get things done is critical to you developing and delivering as a leader. It will also help them build the right systems, deploy the right strategies, and have the right people working with them. The more in tune each leader is to these dynamics of their identity, the better they will be able to help their team understand who they are working for. This in turn will allow a smoother working relationship and create a better system of communication. Leaders who have a heightened sense of who they are will make better decisions and understand those decisions. This course will cover the aspects of the leader's identity that are directly connected to providing leadership. It will also provide some tools to help each leader start or continue their journey of self-discovery.

THE VISION & MISSION OF THE LEADER
The vision component represents one of the most powerful tools that the leader has to influence others and unite those they are leading. The vision serves as the means to guide the leader as well as keep everyone on track. There are many factors that play a part in leading and overcoming any obstacle that may arise during the pursuit of fulfilling the overall vision for any venture. This course explains why vision casting is imperative to motivating those you are leading. Additionally, we help you instrumentally use your vision to garner relationships and obtain individuals buy-in.

THE CHARACTER OF THE LEADER
The character component represents what we call the foundation of leadership and is the major attributing factor that brings a solidness to any organization. Character supports all the other components of the Leadership Matrix Model and allows them to thrive. Discipline and development takes place in a leader's character. Many times the kind of growth that initially occurs is a deep work in a leaders integrity, morality, faithfulness, and honor. This course breakdowns and explains the four elements that we believe make up a strong character which is the basis for all leadership. From our experience, we have seen that a leader will not have what takes to bring people into the vision without character.

THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LEADER
The knowledge component represents the measure of information, understanding, and principles gained through a variety of experiences in life. The range of information that a leader possesses determines the extent to which a leader is able to teach, train, and equip those they lead. This is important because a leader is in an advanced position and for this reason they rely on the mastery of those ideas, principles, subject matter, and techniques of their industry or profession in order to lead effectively. This course helps give an understanding of knowledge and the role it plays in a leader’s overall ability to add value to those they lead. We explain the importance of having a range of information that can bolster your leadership in the areas of knowing: yourself, your people, where you are going, what to do, and the process. Ultimately, being aware and in the know is key to leading when you are responsible for growing and developing your people.

THE LEADER'S SKILL SET
Finding out how and when you can lead is an empowering moment. It also allows you to believe others can lead as well. This can take your business, venture, or project to another level. Adding to leadership to your skill set is one of the most impactful decisions you can make. Seeing, cultivating, and releasing the leadership abilities in those you lead is going to cause you to reach your goals more quickly. This class will teach you the science behind why everyone is a leader and will give you a powerful diagnostic tool.
